O'Connell Law Firm

was founded in 2007 by Jill O'Connell.

Jill has focused on family law related issues including divorce, adoption, collaborative law, guardianship and will preparation since starting to practice law in Texas.

Divorce is one type of legal matter that the office handles. One positive change in family law and divorce that Jill has seen is collaborative law. Collaborative law allows the people involved in the divorce to craft their agreements in a way that is personal to their needs and their case.

For example, if there are children, the possession schedule can work with their extracurricular activities or a parent's travel schedule. If the children are older (the teen years), an issue that can be tailored to within the collaborative law method is possession times and schedules because teens have unique schedules.

Each party retains an attorney trained in collaborative law and the process begins with a meeting. You can redefine your family in a way that is personal.

Contact the O'Connell Law Firm today to discuss how collaborative law can help you.
